At Velvet Bloom Pastries, we take pride in providing freshly made, high-quality pastries and baked goods. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we have established the following refund and return policy.
1. Perishable Goods Policy
All pastries, cakes, and baked goods are perishable items. As such:

All sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges once products have left the premises.

We cannot offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect ordering by the customer.
2. Quality Concerns
Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you believe a product is defective, contaminated, or not up to quality standards, you must:

Notify us within 24 hours of purchase.

Provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).

Provide clear photographic evidence of the issue.
-
Return the product (if requested) for inspection.
If we determine that the product was defective or did not meet our quality standards, we may, at our sole discretion:

Issue a replacement product, or
-
Provide a full or partial refund.
3. Custom & Special Orders
Custom cakes, specialty pastries, and made-to-order items require advance preparation and ingredients. Therefore:

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of order.

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before pickup may receive a partial refund (excluding deposit).

Cancellations made less than 24hrs before pickup are non-refundable.

Once a custom item has been picked up or delivered, no refunds will be issued unless the product is proven defective.
4. Order Errors
If we make an error with your order (incorrect item, design mistake, or missing item), please contact us immediately. We will:

Correct the error as quickly as possible, or
-
Provide an appropriate refund or store credit.
5. Delivery Orders
For delivery orders:

Customers must ensure accurate delivery details are provided.

We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by incorrect addresses or unavailable recipients.

Claims regarding delivery issues must be reported within 24 hours.
6. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
While we take precautions, our kitchen may handle common allergens including but not limited to nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, and gluten.

Customers are responsible for informing us of allergies at the time of ordering.

We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Refunds will not be issued for allergic reactions unless caused by our failure to follow clearly documented instructions.
7. Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase, you agree to this Refund & Returns Policy. Customers agree to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
